    • United States
  • Business Development

Job description

What You'll Do

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers at major brands and enterprise advertisers through targeted research, industry connections, and strategic outreach.

  • Build relationships with brand-side marketing, media, programmatic, and advertising stakeholders through warm introductions, networking, referrals, and thoughtful outreach.

  • Execute a high-touch business development approach across email, LinkedIn, phone, industry events, and in-person meetings to generate qualified opportunities for the Growth Team.

  • Spend approximately 3–4 days per month on in-person business development, including planned office visits, coffee meetings, local networking events, curated dinners, happy hours, and other relevant field marketing activities.

  • Coordinate closely with the assigned Growth Director to identify priority accounts and plan market activity strategically.

  • Attend relevant brand and advertising industry events to expand AI Digital’s network and strengthen relationships with prospective clients.

  • Track relationship development, outreach activity, and pipeline progress in HubSpot CRM.

  • Support Growth Directors in advancing opportunities beyond the initial introduction and Discovery Call.

What You Bring

Must-have

  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, programmatic, media planning, digital media, advertising, AdTech, MarTech, publisher sales, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of the advertising and digital media ecosystem, including programmatic advertising.

  • Experience working with brands, agencies, publishers, media companies, or other advertising-industry organizations.

  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to develop warmer connections into enterprise brands rather than relying only on high-volume cold outreach.

  • Experience with in-person meetings, industry events, networking, or other offline business development activities.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage marketing and media decision-makers.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage priority accounts and outreach strategy independently.

  • Willingness to travel locally and participate in in-person business development approximately 3–4 days per month, with flexibility around events and active opportunities.

Nice-to-have

  • Existing relationships with major brands, media agencies, or holding companies.

  • Experience working with Fortune 500 or other large enterprise brands.

  • Background in programmatic, media planning, media buying, publisher sales, broadcasting, TV, CTV/OTT, or integrated advertising.

  • Previous experience in agency-side media or programmatic roles with an interest in transitioning into business development or sales.

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Winmo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
