Job description
Manage up to 3 Team Leads and oversee full pod operations
Provide daily support and guidance, resolving complex or escalated issues
Build strong working relationships with the VP of Growth and cross-functional Group Heads and Directors
Ensure full accountability for all planning deliverables within the pod
Identify process bottlenecks and lead stream-wide optimization initiatives
Contribute expert input to large-scale proposals and Tier 1 RFPs
Design team structures and lead planning resource allocation
Own pod-level budget planning and reporting
Conduct performance reviews for Team Leads and manage succession planning
Hire and onboard new Team Leads and senior-level specialists
Job requirements
4-6 years in digital media planning
3+ years of management experience across multiple teams or streams
Expert-level knowledge of DSPs, programmatic, and multi-platform media planning
Advanced client-facing experience, including strategic pitches
Proven success in strategic planning, process design, and team process building
Experience managing budgets at a stream and pod level
Strong hiring and onboarding skills
Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication capabilities
